Policy

Killester College welcomes all students who wish to be educated in the Brigidine and Catholic tradition.

In keeping with welcoming all students, Killester does not use an exclusive model for enrolment. Hence, students are not required to do exams or complete other such tasks as part of the selection procedure.

Killester is primarily a local school for the local families of the Springvale area.

When enrolments exceed the number of places available the following criteria are used to offer places to students.

  1. Sisters of girls currently enrolled
  2. Students from Catholic feeder primary schools
  3. Catholic applicants who are resident in the feeder parishes
  4. Catholic and Christian applicants outside the feeder parishes
  5. Students from other religious denominations
  6. Other students
